La Perle Saltibus, the Karaoke family and the Soufriere Calypso fraternity mourn the passing of the 2024 Soca Monarch Lil Vicke. She was a member of SoufEx -The Soufriere Experience Calypso Tent inspired by Aagee Simpson. Lil Vicke was also an announcer at Liberty FM. Lil Vicke spoke with Calabash TV on the night of her big win at the Soufriere stadium.

Saint Lucia’s theatrical production of the year -THE WALKING TREE – December 28th and 29th at Warehouse 11 at Bisee. 2024 has been a great year for Saint Lucia – thanks in large measure to the young ladies who blazed the trail – Julien Alfred, Zaida James, Qiana Joseph, Narissa Crafton and Selena Ross. And now playwright and director Monique Auguste and the cast of THE WALKING TREE are ending the year with a production called THE WALKING TREE at Warehouse 11 at Bisee, behind Sureline. That production takes place December 28th and 29th, and January 4th and 5th. ALL PROUD LUCIANS come support June Frederick’s Youth in Arts production THE WALKING TREE. This could be a perfect Christmas and New Year’s Gift for you and the family. Calabash TV visited one of the rehearsal sessions and filed this report.
